The price of each outfit varies based on the design and customization requirements. You can view the price of your desired outfit directly on our website (https://ethiopian.store) . If you're interested in purchasing an item that isn't listed on the website, please share a picture with us, and we'll promptly provide you with the price and delivery time.

• How long will delivery take?

Delivery time depends on the product you choose and your location. Since most of the items we sell are custom made, depending on the design, processing time varies. But once the outfit is ready, delivery usually takes 3 to 5 days to the US. 

• How does shipping work?

We ship all our orders via DHL. Once your order has been shipped, you’ll get a notification email from DHL and you can expect delivery within a few days depending on your location. For local customers, you can pick up the order directly from our office.

• How does sizing work?

We provide a standard measurement chart on our website along with instructions on how to use it. However, we suggest that you should send your own measurements following the measurement guide to ensure a perfect fit.

• Where are you located?

We mainly operate from Ethiopia. We have offices in Addis Ababa and in the US.  Please check the footer of our website for addresses.

• Do you have a physical shop?

We don't have a physical store as we run our business online. We only have a workshop and you’re more than welcome to visit our office. 

• Do you have pre-made outfits?

Yes, but we do not keep a lot of inventory. Most of our products are custom made.

• Do you ship to (specific area) and how much is shipping?

We ship orders worldwide. Shipping is free if you are in the US, Canada, the EU, and the UK. If you are not in these regions, our system will automatically calculate shipping fees at checkout.

• Do you offer customization options for the outfits?

Customization is available, with pricing based on the complexity of the request. Contact us for customization details. 

• Do you make children’s outfits?

Yes, we make outfits for children of all age groups. Before ordering a children's outfit, you should contact us first to discuss measurement and pricing details.

• How do returns work?

A sold item is eligible for return within 14days of delivery and we’ll assist you through the returning process. However, custom orders (change in design, color, or pattern) are not eligible for a return, since they are made based on your specific needs. 

• Can I get a discount?

We usually run discounts around holidays and wedding seasons. And If you’re a returning customer or buying multiple outfits at once, we can arrange a discount for you. 

Orders processing days differ for each item. The shortest processing time is 1 day and the longest is 10 weeks depending on the type of product. After receiving your order confirmation email, you will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

All items are shipped from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

 International Shipping

We offer free shipping on all items to the following territories:

1. North America (The US & Canada)
2. The EU & UK
   

Shipping charges for other locations than these will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Your order may be subject to import duties, taxes (including VAT), and tarrifs which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. TheEthiopianStore is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are the customer's responsibility.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 15 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at contact@ethiopian.store with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes, so please use your address on checkout. Thank you.

Cancellation: 
Customers may cancel their order within 24 hours of purchase for any reason, with no questions asked and no fees applied. After this period, cancellations must be requested by contacting us directly. Please note that cancellations after 24 hours maybe subject to a flat $35 cancellation fee, and approval is at our discretion depending on the status of the order. Once an order has been processed or shipped, we may not be able to accommodate a cancellation.

Return Period:
You have 30 days from the date of receipt to return your item(s) for a refund or exchange.

Eligibility:
- Items must be returned in their original condition, unworn, and with all original packaging and tags.
- Items must not be custom orders (change in design, pattern, or color), as it is going to be specifically tailored to you wants and needs.
- Buyer is responsible for all import taxes, duties, and tarrifs imposed by the country of destination. If items are returned due to the buyer not fulfilling these responsibilities, TheEthiopianStore is not going to issue a refund. Return Shipping:
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs regardless of the reason for the return. All returns must be shipped to our location in Ethiopia. 

Process:
1. To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at contact@ethiopian.store to receive a Return Authorization Number and instructions.
2. Ship the item(s) back to us with the Return Authorization Number clearly marked on the package.
3. Once we receive and inspect the item(s), we will process your refund or exchange.

Refunds:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method less initial shipping costs. We will send a receipt for the shipping cost to your email or WhatsApp number if available.
- We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at contact@ethiopian.store.

Exchanges:
- Exchanges are accepted; please contact us to discuss availability and any additional terms.
- Any additional shipping costs for exchanges are the responsibility of the buyer.

Non-Returnable Items:
- Items not eligible for return include those that are damaged or altered by the customer.
- Custom orders tailored to the needs of the customer are not returnable.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
